Data mining theory, hands-on model building and prediction routines for: market basket analysis, decision trees, neural networks, clustering analysis, logistic regression, and naive Bayesian algorithms.

Those wishing to actively participate in the hands-on portion of the workshop are encouraged to bring a laptop. The workshop presenters will provide the necessary client software in order to participate in the workshop activities.

Targeted Attendees
IS faculty currently teaching, or desiring to teaching, a senior-level and/or graduate-level course in data mining methods. Alternatively, anyone interested in the topic is also welcome.
